Dear Weightlifting Fans, I Have Some Exciting News!

This year's Weightlifting World Championships preview won't be a solo show.

For the upcoming episode of Lock Out aka Suorille Käsille, I'm joined by a very special guest: Miika Antti-Roiko, one of the most accomplished and decorated Finnish weightlifters of the modern era. Antti-Roiko represented Finland at the 2012 Olympic Games, competed internationally for years, appeared at numerous European and World Championships, won 40 Finnish Championship titles, and claimed six Nordic Championship titles during his career. But Miika's contribution to Finnish weightlifting didn't end when his competitive career did.

Today, he continues to develop the next generation of athletes and remains one of the most knowledgeable voices in Finnish weightlifting. More importantly, he is a true fan of the sport. He follows international lifting closely and has done so for years, which is exactly why I'm so excited to hear his thoughts on this year's World Championships.

The episode is scheduled to be released on October 27, when the World Championships begin in China.
